Registration has closed.
The Monash University Healthy Start to Life research initiative and the Network in Genes and Environment in Development invite you to a national conference on alcohol in pregnancy. This conference is timely given the recent review of the National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines for alcohol consumption during pregnancy. Exposing the fetus to alcohol can have detrimental, life-long consequences, and it is now known that multiple organ systems can be affected. This conference will review current knowledge on the diverse effects of prenatal alcohol exposure, and addresses the critical question: is there any safe level of exposure?
This National Conference will feature some of Australia's leading researchers as well as representatives from the public health sector.
